TUBERS: There is no uniform or “standard” look for dahlia tubers, as each variety develops its own unique form. Dahlia tubers naturally differ in size, shape, and appearance. Some may be small, irregular, or not visually appealing—this is completely normal and does not impact their ability to grow. As long as a tuber has a visible eye, it is viable and will grow into a beautiful plant .
